Winterization Packages have become a very popular option or even standard equipment with Manufacturers of Restroom and Specialty Trailers and their Customers. Our large volume holding tank heat panels have become the standard of use in these packages. We started in this spin-off section to the Sanitation Industry over 20 years ago with Ameri-Can Engineering, offering a product to prevent the 250+ gallon waste tanks from freezing up and pumpable when a unit is used in colder weather. Since then, we have worked with most every new and major producer, names like Black Tie Manufacturing, Rich Specialty, Forest River Cargo, providing standard or custom designed heat panels to meet their needs. Widely used are our 120VAC models although 220VAC and other voltages are also available, all proven to be efficient, cost effective, and easy to install.
The Mobile Restroom Trailer market has seen quite a boom in resent years, and we’ve expanded our product line to keep pace. In 2006 we developed and introduced an electronic ambient temperature sensor control system, to activate and shut down the anti-freeze system based on colder outside temperatures, a setup crew can now place a unit without the need to continually monitor after setup. Field tested and proven to be reliable and basically fool proof, this moderate priced system option has been widely accepted and incorporated by most. We now offer many different standard size heat panels allowing freeze protection to the most common size volume tanks, everything from 40 gallon to 1000+ gallon capacities constructed of poly or metal are no longer a problem. In addition, newly designed heat panels for the Banjo ball valves, and drainage pipe panels moved over from our RV Industry products complete the protection needed to ensure the septic pumper service can vacuum clean trouble free in even freezing conditions.
